Social Media in the Workplace

– engaging employees as ‘Marketeers’

As a lawyer, I know all too well about the harm that social media can do to businesses and professional relationships when misused or not used appropriately. What I don’t see very often is how social media is used to gain business advantage in an increasingly competitive and fast-moving market.

Aside from spending time and money on social media ad campaigns or attempts to kick-start viral messages, how can social media be used to the universal benefit of your business.  To develop your organisation, your brand and your reach, there are many missed opportunities to engage employees and have them promote on your behalf, both in and out of the workplace.

The presentation will be aimed at business owners, communications professionals and HR directors/managers but will be of general interest to most business minded people.

  • – Use social media to your professional advantage;
  • – Build and strengthen internal and external relationships;
  • – Develop a practical and workable communication strategy;
  • – Develop your brand power;
  • – Harness employee engagement;
  • – Learn how to best protect your reputation and values;
  • – Maximise business opportunities;
  • – Reach the audience you want.
